If you have been wondering what to do with your hair this is it!

With all the Cochella vibes coming from the west coast and the 70's style making a strong comeback this season at fashion week it seems only right that a more "free spirited" haircut would emerge as a trend.

The Shag is back and better then ever, people and celebrities are starting to sport this iconic look from coast to coast. This was a style in the past once reserved for people with shorter hair, now in spring 2015 we are seeing this style push the boundaries and take shape in all different hair lengths.

For longer hair I recommend lots of medium length tousled layers and a heavy fringe. This will give your hair lots of body and texture, and will give you that sexy late 60's vibe with a touch of rock and roll.

For medium hair I would go for textured shorter layers. I would add some shorter face framing pieces which you can either part as a side bang or rock a middle part giving you the Farrah Fawcett effortless texture and style.

For shorter hair less is more. Rough up the blunt bob you are sporting with some shattered longer layers through the crown and a long heavy fringe. This will take your chic style to a new level and really spice up your look to keep your short hair on trend.

The Newest Hair Color Trend for 2015

Good bye ombré, dip dye, and vibrant color trends of 2014!

Since the start of 2015 you may have been hearing about "tortoise shell" hair color. This trend is called Ecaille and has been trending in Paris since the start of 2015. While ombré and other more bold trends ruled 2014 things are making a slight shift in the new year! We are seeing more of a natural graduation in color with more balayage creating those sun kissed highlights you got as a kid.

Although ombré will always be a trend in hair color, 2015 is beckoning for change and ecaille will keep you on the cutting edge of trends for the seasons!

While sharing similar traits to ombré, ecaille is the more sophisticated version of the trend you know and love. Think of it as ombré's "darker side". It's slightly richer playing with smooth caramel hues, golden highlights, and lots of shine. You can also pair this with balayage highlights for a truly multi-dimensional bombshell look. This is suitable for all hair color types since it plays off your natural color giving you a more natural grow out with less color maintenance.

When choosing your color make sure that it compliments your skin tone and eye color to ensure the richness of the total look. Check out these celebrities that have already been sporting the trend. These babes have been light in the past but no one can argue that warming up the tone and going a bit darker has left them looking chic and amazing!
